Regulatory Alignment
AHCRA's Clinic Compliance platform is designed to help Australian healthcare clinics understand and meet their regulatory obligations. Our tools, content, and educational materials are aligned with the requirements and guidelines published by the following bodies and frameworks:
AHPRA — Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
AHCRA's website auditing and advertising compliance tools are built around the advertising guidelines published by AHPRA and the National Boards. Our platform helps clinics identify potential breaches of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law as it relates to advertising of regulated health services.
TGA — Therapeutic Goods Administration
Our compliance audit tools reference the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code and related TGA guidance to help clinics assess their advertising of therapeutic goods and services, including cosmetic injectables and medical devices.
ACCC — Australian Competition and Consumer Commission
AHCRA's platform considers Australian Consumer Law requirements relevant to healthcare advertising, including provisions relating to misleading or deceptive conduct, testimonials, and pricing representations.
Privacy Act 1988
Our policy generation tools include templates and guidance aligned with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, helping clinics develop privacy policies and data handling procedures appropriate for healthcare settings.
NSQHS Standards — National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
AHCRA's compliance frameworks reference the NSQHS Standards where relevant, particularly in areas relating to clinical governance, partnering with consumers, and communicating for safety.
Independence Statement
AHCRA is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or formally partnered with AHPRA, the TGA, the ACCC, the OAIC, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care, or any other government or regulatory body.
AHCRA is operated by Luna Systems Pty Ltd. The regulatory bodies listed above are referenced solely to describe the standards and legislation that our platform is designed to help clinics comply with.
Educational Purpose
AHCRA is an educational and compliance management platform. Our tools and content are designed to help healthcare professionals understand their regulatory obligations and manage compliance processes. The platform does not replace independent legal advice, and users should consult qualified professionals for specific compliance questions.
